Christina Skye at Sea!
Okay, so that's not so very unusual—there are days when I feel I've vanished into the world of my latest book. This time, thanks to Bantam/Dell, I was actually out on the 4briny, cruising the Caribbean. I've just returned from the exciting Get Caught Reading at Sea cruise sponsored by Levy Home Entertainment. What a fabulous experience! The cruise passengers always seemed to have a book in hand, and it was wonderful to strike up conversations anywhere. These were enthusiastic readers, and many had begun a reading program before the cruise so that they had read something by every author aboard. That left me completely amazed.

Another popular cruise feature was the towel animals left in guest rooms each night. They were just too cute although I had quite a scare one night when I returned to the cabin and saw dark eyes glinting from a big form over my bed. I thought it was a bat, but it was a towel swan hanging over my bed wearing my sunglasses! Click here to view the movie I made of the cruise. It includes a demonstration of how the animals are made. Be warned, though. The movie is pretty big and takes a little while to load. It plays best in Internet Explorer.

You're Wonderful!
Because of you Code Name: Princess is a Bestseller!

More CODE NAME books to come!

For those of you who wrote to say you enjoyed CODE NAME: NANNY and CODE NAME: PRINCESS, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve moved to a fabulous new publisher, HQN, for four more CODE NAME books. These new stories will have all the action, humor, suspense and white-hot passion that you can always expect in my work. But be warned, the next books may take you into uncharted territory. You’re going to see your heroes in brand-new ways, and I’m hoping you love them as much as I do. Watch my fun stuff page for excerpts over the next months.

For Aspiring Authors

I’ve also added new entries for those of you on your way to becoming writers. I’ll continue to update and expand my Writer’s Corner, and I hope these tips will help those of you on the writer’s path. It’s not easy, but I can’t imagine a better job!

(Except when deadlines loom!)

Feng what?

It’s called feng shui (said fung shway), and people are getting amazing results with this ancient Oriental form of room design. Check out the condensed version of my cruise workshop here.

And be sure to check back right after Thanksgiving for a special holiday treat! As my gift to you, I’m adding a special new Members Only area with freebies, fun stuff, recipes and more for SkyeClub members.

Meanwhile, be well and be happy!
